I was skeptical about the "cool to the touch" claim, but after pouring boiling water into the Americano size, the cup's exterior stayed perfectly comfortable to hold. The velvety finish feels really nice, too — my coffee stayed hot for a solid 15 minutes longer than my old mug.
The ceramic really does stay cool to the touch even when I'm making a latte, which is a nice change from my old mugs. I grabbed the cappuccino size and it's perfect for my morning routine.
