The wide bowl really funnels the aromas up beautifully—I poured the same red into one of these and a regular glass, and the difference in smell and taste was obvious. They feel sturdy in the hand too, which is a bonus since I’m clumsy. I’ve already ordered a second set.
I was skeptical that glass shape mattered much, but the narrower opening really concentrates the fruit and the wide body lets it open up beautifully. Even a simple weekday red tasted noticeably more layered and smooth.
